actually some of the suit pics you posted are not actually the anarkali designs but yes its a fact that anarkali suits are now changing with design styles. previously anarkalis were considered the very long salwar suits with gher patterns starting from upper waist (right below the bust). but now a days anarkali pattern is seeing new designs coming up from new creative brains of designers.

In the very last collage, the middle picture is a very good example of how the definition of anarkali suits is changing. now a days anarkali consist of designs which you can wear not alone in special wedding type occasion but on common functions/parties too.

Its a grt change you know and its molding the designs creativity to suit young butterflies (teenagers girls) more. let's see what comes in future :)
gud post btw.

Thanks for your valuable comment. I have no reason to differ with your view but through this post i tried to tell how the ethnic couture is changing with fashion and innovations. But still a flared look is called 'anarkali' in common terms. That is why i included 'not so anarkali but still anarkali' kinda kameez too. :)

well yeah! you can definitely call it anarkali pattern. you know it's fashion and fashion changes very rapidly. and its always good for both customers and sellers if the new design ideas and new trends are coming from designers. in fact this is what we call innovation in fashion designing industry.

look at the way satya paul designs the sarees (printed saree collection especially). there is no so called heavy embroidery or heavy look but they comes in premium category because of the creativity involved in the design + experimentation.
check satya paul's new design here = http://shop.satyapaul.com/

so creative experiments are always non-objectionable. And objections makes them popular.
